Chili Cook Off Ahead! Get Ready!

On Saturday, March 23 the African Mission Team at 1301 FM 405 in Riverside, churches, law enforcement, and many others will gather to determine who makes the best chili. It’s simple to register and the possibilities are endless. If you aren’t a great chili cook you can enter the bake off. There will be lots of food, fun, and fellowship for everyone.

The entry fee is $25 for a team or and individual. First Place prize is one quarter of the entry fees and a trophy. Second place is $50, third place is $25, and a prize for “People Choice” is an apron and trophy.

Dessert judging starts at noon with a first place ribbon, second place ribbon, and third place ribbon.

Live music with Wade Phillips and Lance Williams. There will also be games and races for all ages with prizes and door prizes.

Even if you don’t enter either contest, come on out and visit with everyone. It will be a great time to shake off the winter blues and get ready for spring.
