Field of Faith in Trinity October 9th

Fields of Faith is a student-led faith event that happens each year on the second Wednesday in October at locations around the world.

Fields of Faith is a student-led event where students invite, pray for, share stories with and challenge their peers to read the bible and follow Jesus Christ. An athletic field provides a neutral rally point where a community can come together. This year, we have the honor of hosting for our community and the surrounding area. On October 9, 2019, students from all parts of the world will gather on their fields to share what it means to them to be a Christian athlete and how this choice affects their lives as well as their peers, families, and community. All families and friends are welcome to help us lift these brave students up and cover them in prayer that they have the strength to stand in their faith. We will start serving our athletes at 6 PM, then the event will begin at 7 PM.

Dr. Sharon Schuetz has a Ph.D. in clinical Christian counseling and has counseled hundreds of families over the past 25 years. In 2013 she and a friend started the website Lady-Patriots.com with 26 different authors and millions of visitors until she sold it in 2016. Since then, she has worked in her local county, Trinity, Texas in the Republican Party, Republican Women, the Trinity County Patriots, and is the former editor of the local newspaper, The Trinity Standard. She recently accepted the position of Secretary of the Trinity County Republican Party. Sharon and her husband of 42 years, Michael, pastor the Sebastopol Community Church in Trinity, and have three children and ten grandchildren.
