Meet the New Goat Island Project Committee

On September 19, we held a meeting at the Sebastopol Community Church to organize and elect a committee to manage the process of placing goats on Goat Island and take care of the follow-up and maintenance care to keep them alive and healthy. The committee consists of the Manager, Terry Threlkeld, Assistant Manager, Ron Crone, Sharon Crone, Susan Martin, Tammy Muir, Betty Busch, and Jennifer Staples.

Another organization meeting is planned for Wednesday, October 17* at the Sebastopol Community Church. The new committee will take over the reins of the Goat Island Project at the October 17* meeting, where we hope to sign the TRA lease. We will also hand over the money $2,000.35 (After gofundme’s deductions) raised from the community’s donation through the gofundme account so that the committee can start a bank account. When that’s done, the gofundme account will be connected to the new account so that donations can continue.

Committee Manager, Terry Threlkeld, will liaison with the TRA and be the community contact point after next week’s meeting.
