Sheriff Woody Wallace has “mild” heart attack – Please pray

Trinity County Sheriff Woody Wallace needs our prayers because he had a mild heart attack yesterday, September 29th. Mary sent us the following message this morning:

“I just wanted to let ya’ll know that I had to bring Woody to Huntsville Hospital yesterday due to chest pains. They said he had a mild heart attack. They transferred us to Conroe Regional by Ambulance. They admitted him and put us in a room in the IMU and monitored him all night. He feels better this morning. Blood pressure is still high. They gave him medication for that. His 2nd set of numbers from blood draw at 4am for Cardiologists were high again so they are waiting for results from 3rd test so Cardiologist can look at it when he gets here. Nurses came in every 2 hours so little rest. But that’s ok cause were preparing for Greyson. lol. I’ll keep you updated as soon as we see the Cardiologist which will be around noon.”

At about 1:30 PM this afternoon Mary sent the following message:

Cardiologist came in and said we are scheduled for heart cath tomorrow. Don’t know what time yet. He will do stints if needed.”

Please keep the Wallace family in your prayers. Trinity County has been blessed to have a Sheriff who cares about our county and works so hard to make it a great place to live for everyone. Pray especially that Mary won’t be overly stressed throughout this process.
