Trinity ISD Hiring 2 Police Officers

Police Officer (2 positions)
 
Qualifications:
 
            Education/Certification:
            High School Diploma or GED

Texas Peace Officer License issued by Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE)
General knowledge of criminal investigation, police report writing, and criminal laws
Ability to pass required physical, psychiatric, and drug tests
Valid Texas Driver’s license

Special Knowledge/Skills
Meet requirements to be bonded as required by Texas Education Code, Section 37.081 (h)
Ability to work well with youth and adults
Training and ability to subdue offenders

Experience

            Background in law enforcement or related work experience

Salary

            $34,000 plus overtime

School employee benefits apply

Work year

              11 months

Both positions will remain open until filled

Sharon pastors the Sebastopol Community Church in Trinity and she and her late husband, Michael, have three children and ten grandchildren.
