It’s almost time for school to start!! Please join us in making the 1st annual Stuff the Bus campaign sponsored by the Haley Burk Memorial Foundation and Trinity ISD a roaring success. Dr. John Kaufman, Superintendent, started an initiative last school year to help ease the financial burden on parents purchasing school supplies. Trinity ISD provided nearly $25,000.00 in supplies to local students including paper, pencils, composition notebooks, expo markers, and folders. The school district plans on purchasing these items again this year to help families of school-aged children with the necessary school supplies for the upcoming year.

This year, the school district has teamed up with The Haley Burk Memorial Foundation to give community members an opportunity to make a difference in the life of a child by helping students start the school year with the basic school supplies needed. Starting August 1st there will be a Trinity ISD school bus parked at the D&S plaza where you can “Stuff the Bus” with school supplies. The bus will be onsite Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. from August 1st – August 17th. Any supplies that are dropped off between the hours of 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. will need to be taken to Changez Salon.

TISD would like to say a special thank you to the Haley Burk Memorial Foundation for initiating and organizing the campaign.
